He doesn’t talk to you after the main storyline. You have to completel the side quests that lead to city influence quests and complete them, and Brynjolf will talk to you again. It isn’t a bug. After you finish the Thieves Guild quest line, Brynjolf won’t have anymore dialogue for you to interact with.
