You can also try just running the game in ‘Borderless Windowed Mode’ aka ‘Fullscreen Windowed Mode’ and then set your Desktop to 2560x1080 before you start the game. Fallout 4 will then just ‘use whatever the Desktop resolution is’. I’ve done this too and it works well.13 Oct 2018
